Dr. Jnanankar Medhi, Consultant , The Retina Centre, specializes in surgery of the cataract, cornea and anterior segment. He received his MS degree from RIO, Guwahati in 2003. and trained under the ICO Fellowship in Cornea and external diseases from Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, Harvard Medical School, Boston as well as at the Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai. He served as a Consultant, Cornea Services, at Sri Sankaradeva Nethralaya, Guwahati from 2004-2017.
Dr. Medhi has performed more than 10,000 phaco emulsification with lens implantation and more than 500 corneal transplant surgeries.
